$200K+ Optometrist Job Near Lake Superior in Ashland, Wisconsin
Our well-established, highly reputable Ophthalmology Services group is actively looking to expand our team of 4 Ophthalmologists and one Optometrist with the addition of a 2nd Optometrist. We will consider new grad Optometrists for this position and we encourage experienced Optometrists to inquire too.
Join a collegial and collaborative group of providers and a robust support staff to perform a scope of practice that includes medical and general Optometry. You will interpret exam findings to educate and guide patients on treatments and recommendations. You will provide post-operative care in coordination with ophthalmology. Travel to our Hayward satellite clinic will generally occur one day per week.
We have updated facility amenities with a physician friendly EMR system in place. Providers in this service see an average of 15 patients per 8-hour day, with no evenings, weekends, nor call required. There are full or part time schedule options.
Benefits & Salary:
Realistic total income for a busy O.D. would be $200k and potentially higher, depending on how many patients the incoming optometrist wants to see. We have a competitive salary guarantee near the 75th percentile according to MGMA, sign-on bonus, as well as full benefits to include medical, HSA, dental, 403(b) retirement with an employer match of 5%, PTO, wellness benefits, etc.
