Optometrist Job with a Private Ophthalmology / Optometry Practice in Connecticut. Join a wonderful group of doctors and staff.
We are a multi-physician ophthalmology and optometric practice with 6 locations in Greater Hartford area, expanding to over 8 locations within the upcoming year. Current locations include West Hartford, East Hartford, Hartford, Enfield, Newington and Vernon with future locations in Glastonbury and Avon.
Our group dates back to 1990 and we are a well-regarded, market leading group in the communities we serve. Today we see over 0,000 patient encounters and perform over 5,000 surgical procedures per year. We provide full optical services in each location. Our 11-doctor team is growing and we’re looking for a talented, relational Optometrist for our patients. Our practice sees patients for cataract surgery, glaucoma, medical retina, and oculoplastics and medical and routine optometric care.
The incoming optometrist must have an unrestricted license to practice optometry in the state of Connecticut and be eligible for professional malpractice liability coverage.
Compensation and Benefits Include:
- 6 Paid Holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

- Coverage of costs associated with 22 hours of CE required for state of Connecticut licensure

- Individual Health Insurance Coverage (Practice pays 60% of premium, Employee pays 40% of premium)
