We are a healthcare organization that provides help to the community of Panama City. We have an opening for a medical / comprehensive optometrist at our Panama City location. You will have the opportunity to provide cutting-edge eye care in our clinic, equipped with the latest technology. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, employing advanced diagnostic techniques using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, ensuring optimal visual health for our patients.
- Prescribe and fit contact lenses, eyeglasses, and other visual aids, enhancing patients’ quality of life.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and the proper use of eyewear.
- Foster seamless collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, ensuring accuracy and continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program.
- An unrestricted state license to practice optometry utilizing therapeutic pharmacologic agents.
- Valid state license to practice optometry in Florida, with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong patient rapport and team collaboration.
- Adept at thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
