Our well-established group OD/MD practice is recruiting a talented Optometrist. Our organization has been providing care to patients in the Dartmouth area for over 30 years and we believe in giving back to our community. Our team consists of 15 Optometrists and 9 Ophthalmologists, many of whom have subspecialty training. We have a wonderful work place culture and many of our staff have worked here long-term.
Our offices are fully equipped, state-of-the-art vision centers. From basic eye examinations to laser vision correction and the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, cornea, and retinal conditions, our team is trained to provide the most comprehensive, most compassionate service available. This facility features an on-site surgery center.
- Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
- Diagnose and treat ocular disease.
- Post-ops.
- Dry Eye and Specialty Lenses experience a plus, but not required.
- Co-manage with our surgeons.
- Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options.
- Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.
- Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions.
- Direct staff and assist in the development of the overall practice.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
- Active state optometry license
- Valid CPR certificate
- Two-plus years of optometrist experience preferred, but will consider excellent new grad and Residency trained ODs.
