About the Practice:
Our successful, private, large Ophthalmology / Optometry group, located in Hickory, NC, is a quality focused practice searching for a collaborative, skilled Ophthalmologist (Cataract, Comprehensive, Cornea or Glaucoma). Since 1969, we have been serving multiple communities by achieving exemplary clinical outcomes and providing unparalleled experiences for patients, employees, and families.
The incoming Cataract or Glaucoma or Cornea Surgeon will BE IMMEDIATELY BUSY and will do an anticipated 450 to 650+ surgeries first year (Depending on experience, skills, and training). For young doctors who don’t wish to see that much volume, we will work with you to create a schedule that works for you. Young doctors will also be mentored by seasoned surgeons who provide world-class care in their community. Our highly trained team of 13 board certified ophthalmologists includes 7 fellowship trained sub-specialists. Services and specialties include comprehensive eye care, cataracts, glaucoma, refractive procedures (iLASIK), corneal disorders, retinal disorders, pediatric vision disorders, oculo-facial plastics (functional and aesthetic services) and optical. Doctors LOVE working here and we have had Very Low Doctor Turnover.
We provide service in a number of North Carolina locations and have a 4 OR Surgery Center Onsite within its 92,000 square foot Hickory building. Patients receive the ultimate in state-of -the-art ophthalmic services.
