New York City Area Retina Surgeon or Medical Retina Specialist Job Opportunity with Large, Premier NYC Practice.

We are the premier and largest independent Ophthalmology practice in New York City. We have been providing world class eye care for over 50 years. We have 6 locations in NYC; Manhattan, Forest Hills (Queens), Bayside (Queens), Scarsdale (Westchester County), Bronx and East Harlem) and we own and manage a single-specialty ASC with 3 ORs. Our team of nearly 20 doctors see approximately 90,000 patients annually and our group continues to grow.
We are recruiting a full-time Board Eligible / Board-Certified Fellowship Trained Retina Surgeon and we will consider Fellowship Trained Medical Retina specialists too. In this position the incoming Retina surgeon will collaborate with a team of 19 Ophthalmologists and Optometrists covering the full range of Ophthalmology services. Given the patient volume, the level of internal referrals coupled with external referrals from PCPs, Endocrinologists, other Ophthalmologists and specialties, Optometrists and other entities, the newly hired surgeon will “ramp-up” quickly in terms of both patient and surgical volume compared to many other practice opportunities in the area. The incoming doctor will get plenty of tech and scribe help. We also utilize multiple marketing vehicles to promote the practice and our physicians and this will enable the incoming surgeon to be quickly busy.
