Tampa Area (Wesley Chapel) Medical Optometrist Job with Private, Multi-Specialty Ophthalmology Group Practice.
We are seeking a highly qualified Medical Optometrist (preferably with residency training) to join our dedicated team and provide superior optometric and medical care. Primary optometry (dispensing glasses and contact lens), diagnosis and treatment of ocular disorders, and post-op management are important skills to have for this opening. Diagnose and and treat ocular disorders and refer to an MD when appropriate. You have the ability to practice to the full extent of your license that you feel comfortable.

We are a private practice, not chain or private equity based. The hours for this position are Tuesday thru Saturday, 8 to 5. No evenings.
Locally, we are a well-respected multispecialty ophthalmology practice that serves the greater Tampa area. We have four thriving locations that serve Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, Sun City Center, and Bushnell. These locations serve rapidly expanding communities with excellent growth projections for the next few decades. Our practice consists of a comprehensive cataract surgeon, a cornea specialist, a retinal surgeon, a neuro/oculoplastic specialist, a medical ophthalmologist and an optometrist. We have 50 excellent support staff who are very team and patient focused. Our administrative staff and policies/procedures are well polished.
