Well-established, well-respected private ophthalmology practice in Queens is recruiting a full-time or part-time OD to join our dynamic team. Our group prizes “patients first” care and we provide leading edge eye health solutions for our loyal patients. We are searching for an experienced OD or an experienced Residency trained OD.
Due to our long-standing reputation in the Howard Beach community, we have a 6-month backlog, so there’s a big need here for your skills. To accommodate our patients, we are renovating our offices to include more lanes. The need is documented and you will be busy immediately. Optometrists who have excellent patient rapport skills and who enjoy a fast-paced, fun work atmosphere with happy staff will thrive here.

- Medical Optometry position
- Highly trained Ophthalmologist / Owner (Cataracts, Femto, Laser Vision Correction, Some MIGS Glaucoma, Premium Lenses)
- Diagnose and manage diseases, post-ops and more
- No optical. No refracting.
- Educate patients on eye care health and preventive measures
- Maintain detailed patient records and follow up care plans
- Active New York state license
- Minimum of two years of experience
- EMR
- Strong, confident interpersonal and communication skills
