An outstanding opportunity exists for a BC/BE, Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, Glaucoma Specialist, or Cornea Specialist to join Virginia’s most diverse and highly respected physician-owned multi-specialty Ophthalmology/Optometry group.
Our well established team is comprised of 44 providers operating seven full-service locations in the Central Virginia region. The ideal candidate will replace an established provider and inherit a busy practice. Subspecialty providers within the group include Cornea/Refractive, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Oculoplastics, Pediatrics/Adult Strabismus, Retina, and Uveitis, all supported by a robust internal referral base. This is a chance to be a part of a very busy practice with the potential to see 50+ patients per day.
The practice also owns and operates an ASC with 5 operating rooms, performing over 15,000 surgical and laser procedures. Our modern facility is equipped with the most advanced surgical, diagnostic, and laser technology. The group is focused on establishing a long-term relationship with an exceptional candidate. There is a well-defined track to becoming a partner that is granted based on achieving superior outcomes and patient satisfaction scores as well as demonstrating good citizenship within the practice.
The practice is located in Central Virginia, one of the most livable metropolitan areas in America with an MSA population of ~1.3 million residents. The Richmond, Virginia area is rich in history with terrific neighborhoods, highly rated schools, entertainment, museums, strong economic conditions, and a growing population. Convenient access to Washington, D.C., Virginia’s beaches, and the Shenandoah Mountains are within a 90-minute drive. In the city and surrounding area, you will find a wealth of small-town charm and big-city amenities. The region enjoys four seasons, including one of the most remarkable fall foliage displays along the Eastern seaboard.
