Ocean Springs, Gulfport, Biloxi area…Glaucoma Surgeon with Comprehensive Ophthalmology/ Cataract skills wanted for Partnership position with long-standing group.
Fellowship trained Glaucoma surgeon / Comprehensive Ophthalmologist sought for thriving Mississippi group. We are an efficient, productive private practice focused 1st on exceptional patient care. Our team of doctors are all fellowship trained and we have a wonderful, highly trained staff. We have multiple locations and ASC’s and are passionate about helping generations of patients to come.
The need for a Glaucoma surgeon in this service area is well documented; market demands, a growing, aging population and a shortage of providers in this Gulf coast area means plenty of opportunity for the incoming surgeon. Many area doctors are at or near retirement age and glaucoma patients are underserved in this region.
We anticipate your surgical volume to be approximately 12-20 per week; approximately 60-70% of your work will be focused on comprehensive ophthalmology and the rest will be Glaucoma oriented work. Surgeries will be performed onsite.
Residents, Fellows-in-training and experienced fellowship trained Glaucoma surgeons are encouraged to learn more. This opportunity has an attractive partnership option (both the practice and surgery center) so our goal is to find a great long-term match.
