We are looking for an energetic, multi tasker, team player who can join our team as our Opthalmic Assistant/tech. Scribing experience a plus. Willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
Work with patients on pre-operative and post-operative procedures.
Calculate diagnostic data: K readings, refraction, visual fields, Lipiflow, Lipiview, OCT.
Document patient history, perform visual acuity and glaucoma tests.
Prepares laser room and instruments for surgery.
Manage patient flow from pre-op through surgery to post-op phase.
scribe in room with Ophthalmologist.
Order Rx through ERX
Qualifications: * Previous Ophthalmic/Optometric experience required.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to interact with patients/physicians.
Versatile skills to act independently and also in a highly effective cross trained team setting.
Excellent accuracy skills and attention to detail.
