The lead surgeon is a board-certified ophthalmologist with 20+ years of experience and a reputation for exceptional surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. With more than 10,000 lifetime cataract surgeries, he has built a thriving, high-end practice and is now seeking a new ophthalmologist to join the team and help meet growing patient demand.
Role Overview
As the new ophthalmologist, you will:
- Perform office-based cataract and refractive surgery, including advanced premium IOLs, EVO ICL and laser procedures (LASIK, SMILE, PRK).
- Enjoy working in a streamlined organization with full support.
- Step into a busy, well-established surgical pipeline, currently managing approximately 1,000 surgical eyes per year with the capacity to double that volume.
- Receive strong mentorship and case transfer from the senior surgeon.
- Work within a premium practice model.
- Our OD-supported clinic allows the incoming surgeon to focus on surgery consults, surgeries, and postoperative care.

- OBS is Quad A accredited.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Strong interest or experience in refractive and cataract surgery, with enthusiasm for premium lenses and patient education.
- Excellent surgical technique and clinical judgment.
- Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- A team-oriented, patient-first mindset and desire to grow within a private, premium model.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base compensation: Excellent earning opportunity, including incentives, with clear pathways for growth based on surgical ramp-up.
- Sign On Bonus and Relocation
- Health insurance (80% of premium covered by practice), malpractice insurance, 4 weeks PTO, 1 week CME, 1 week sick leave, 401(k) after 12 months with 3% employer contribution, and profit sharing.
- Volume potential: The current and future surgical pipeline provides significant income upside as volume increases.
