Glaucoma surgeon job opportunity in the West Orange / Elmwood Park, NJ area.
Our group is a referral-based surgical ophthalmology practice. We are seeking a full time, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon for our locations in West Orange and Elmwood Park, NJ.
The primary, clinical focus of the role will be advanced glaucoma surgical procedures/interventions including trabeculectomy and tube implant procedures. Competency with tertiary glaucoma surgical cases required. The selected candidate will join a large, multispecialty team of seventeen optometrists and twelve ophthalmologists practicing throughout the New York City and New Jersey areas.
- Provide team-oriented care in a high volume clinic with complex pathologies and a strong optometric referral network.
- An adjacent, practice owned and managed ASC houses 4 OR’s with ECP, a Catalys femtosecond laser, and YAG and SLT lasers. XEN gel stents, iStents, and Hydrus available as well.
- A dedicated practice manager, in-house marketing team, certified technicians and scribes on staff to provide expert support.

Our support staff of ophthalmic technicians, medical scribes, surgical schedulers, and patient advocates alleviate many of day-to-day patient care tasks by collaboratively working up patients, entering EHR documentation, and managing clinic flow. Our practice administration team is comprised of experienced experts in marketing, sales, billing, coding, accounting, finance, IT, HR, compliance, business intelligence and analytics. With our robust team, our doctors can focus on providing excellent patient care.
