Our busy, private group practice has an opening for a Glaucoma / Cataracts Surgeon. This is a partnership position with buy-in’s to the practice and new 3 room ASC. We are also open to talking to doctors who are looking for employment only options.
You’ll join a mid-sized private practice with multiple locations in the greater Charlotte North Carolina / South Carolina area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cataract surgery, premium IOLs and Glaucoma surgery. You’ll perform surgeries in our own brand new 3 OR ASC!
We are state-of-the-art and have all the latest equipment including; IOL master, Cassini, newest OCT, digital cameras (anterior and posterior segment), Argon/Yag/SLT/diode lasers, ERG, Ellex Vitreous laser, tearlab, ilux, optical shops, in office LASIK suite, etc. We have our own In office surgical center with Lensx laser and ORA for ICLs, RLE and other eye surgeries. We were one of the first practices in the country to offer the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) platform.
We have an integrated EMR system in every lane with well trained techs and scribes. Great work hours and superior ancillary staff. Our optometrists perform all primary and weekend call so you don’t have to.
Charlotte is the ideal city to raise a family. We have excellent schools and a relatively low cost of living. It is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S and we enjoy 4 seasons of beautiful weather. We have 2 professional sports teams (Hornets NBA and Panthers NFL) and 2 AAA teams (Knights baseball and Checkers hockey). We also have a major international airport, so it’s very convenient for travel. The list of great restaurants and breweries is endless—- this is a great Foodie town. The mountains are less than 2 hours away and the North Carolina and South Carolina beaches are just a quick 3 hour drive.
