Tampa Bay, Florida – Optometrist Job Opportunity w/Private MD/OD Team!

Patient-focused Optometrist is needed to join our established, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Tampa, FL. We are committed to delivering the highest quality of vision care while maintaining a positive, professional, and compassionate environment for both patients and team members.

Our ideal candidate is clinically strong, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced medical setting.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams for new and established patients
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease
• Provide contact lens fittings and follow-up care
• Co-manage cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea patients with our surgical team
• Educate patients on treatment plans and vision care
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow

Requirements : Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and active Florida license (or ability to obtain). Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills, experience in medical optometry preferred and ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
